The mission of the Syracuse Shakespeare Festival is to bring the beauty , poetry and language of Shakespeare's works to everyone in Central New York and the surrounding regions , especially to school-aged children.

We are dedicated to producing the Shakespeare-in-the-Park programs as free public performances.

We, the members of the board for Syracuse Shakespeare Festival in the Park, wish to share with the public the great works of William Shakespeare of the Globe Theater. As a not-for-profit organization, our presentations are free to the public. In order to provide sound systems, costumes, props and other necessary items and services, we require contributions from businesses and individuals. Some of our events lend themselves to pledges.

Towards this end, we will provide events to enable today's youth to experience the brilliance that is known to us as Shakespeare, a timeless intellect whose works still cover the stage and screen.
